About PTAC Alaska

Established in 1986 by the U.S. Department of Defense, the nationwide network of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers or "PTACs" provide businesses with the training and tools they need to compete and perform successfully on federal, state, and municipal government contracts.

The Alaska PTAC provides procurement training and counseling services throughout the state, and help Alaskan businesses keep in touch with contracting opportunities through our award winning Bid Match program. Our staff members possess backgrounds in government acquisitions and participate in ongoing training, enabling them to keep pace with continually changing acquisition marketplace, its policies, and procedures. Through the ever-growing network of PTAC training centers, resource partners, procurement service providers, and partners, Alaska PTAC counselors have  ready access to the expertise and experience of hundreds of colleagues and practice area experts, as well as real-time information from government agencies regarding new requirements and initiatives.
